Suniti's Passion for Literature
Suniti Deshpande was an accomplished writer, educator,
speaker, interpreter and translator of Russian and 3 Indian
languages. Her training and experiences over a 30-year career helped
her become an effective ambassador between the two rich cultures of
India and Russia. She had a passion for languages of Marathi,
Sanskrit, Hindi, English and Russian. Suniti continued to raise the

family, friends, colleagues and students will live on. Suniti
dedicated life to her love for languages, writing, speaking and teaching Russian and bringing the best of 2 literatures together. Suniti will be remembered for how she fought odds to accomplish these
